Anne Bridget Stenerson

Anne B. Stenerson 91, (nee Jennings) of Waxhaw, NC went home to the Lord on May 19, 2009 after a brief illness. Born in NYC in 1917 and raised in Ireland, until she returned to the US at age 17, eventually marrying her beloved husband, Justin. They resided in the Bronx and later in White Plains, N.Y. for nearly 40 years. Anne enjoyed a long and happy career at New York Telephone Co. before retiring at the age of 71. She is survived by her four children; Vincent, Justin, Jr., Eileen and Robert, along with two sisters; Sister Mary Martin, S.A. and Mary Parchen. She was predeceased by her husband Justin Stenerson and two brothers. The pride of her life were her five grandchildren; Louis, Jennifer, Justin Frederick, Viviane Claire and Justin Martin, as well as four great grandsons. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Tuesday 10 AM-12 Noon. Funeral Mass, Our Lady Queen of Peace Chapel at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Tuesday 12 Noon. Interment to follow.
