Anna Tomkins 89, formerly of Hawthorne, N.Y. died on Jan.22,2017. She was born on Nov.18,1927 to the late Frank and Theresia Schuck in Hoboken, N.J. Anna was a former member of the Rosary Altar Society of Holy Rosary Church in Hawthorne, N.Y. She was predeceased by her devoted husband, Edward Tomkins in 2005 and is survived by her loving children, Robert (Melissa) Tomkins of Poughkeepsie, N.Y., Karen (William) Tomkins-Tinch of Poughkeepsie, N.Y. and Rita (Lee Ellman) Tomkins of Yonkers, N.Y. also survived by her five cherished grandchildren, Christopher Tomkins-Tinch, Benjamin and Samuel Ellman and Nicholas and Alexander Tomkins. No Visiting Hours. Funeral Mass, Our Lady Queen of Peace Chapel at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Wednesday, 11 AM. Interment to follow.
