Anna Sorrentino

Anna Sorrentino 88, of Valhalla, N.Y. died on August 30, 2012 at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, N.Y. She was born on Feb.4, 1924 to the late Giuseppe and Francesca (nee Tortorici) Licata in Realmonte, Agrigento, Italy. Anna is survived by her devoted husband Dominick Sorrentino of Valhalla, N.Y. and by her loving children; John (Maria) Sorrentino of Danbury, Conn., Elvira (Joseph) Sorrentino-Thomas and Frances Ann Sorrentino, both of Thornwood, N.Y. two brothers, Rosario and Carmelo (Rosetta) and one sister, Giovanna Licata all of Italy. Also survived by her six cherished grandchildren; Julia Anne, Samuel, Marisa, Dominick, Gabriella and Caleb and one great grandson, Carmelo. Also survived by her many beloved nieces and nephews. Predeceased by three brothers and one sister. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Friday (today) 4-8 PM. Funeral Mass Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Saturday 10 AM. Interment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y. In lieu of flowers donations to Maria Fareri Childrens Hospital 1 Kids Corner Valhalla, N.Y. 10595 would be appreciated.
