ANN R. MOLLICA (nee Sferrazza), passed away in her home in Honolulu on August 24, 2013. She was pre-deceased by her beloved husband Frank J. Mollica. She was a loving and adored mother by her daughter, Georgina Mollica and her hanai daughters, Olivia Unutoa and Jo-lynn Unutoa. She is also survived by her sisters, Sarah Baldacchino and Beatrice Pampillonio and many nieces and nephews. Born in Brooklyn in 1930, Ann graduated from St. Joseph’s College with a B.A. in 1952, followed by a Master’s in Social Work from Fordham University. She moved to White Plains after marrying her husband, Frank in 1966. Ann retired from the City and County of New York Board of Education as a supervisor of school Social Work in 1987. She moved to Honolulu in 2005. Ann dedicated her life to her faith, her family, and to charity. Her presence, strength, and generosity continue on in everyone who loved her.
