Anna Marie DiFede 71, of Thornwood, N.Y. and formerly of West Harrison, N.Y. died on June 29, 2017. She was born on Feb.2, 1946 to the late Luigi and Angelina (Rotella) Chiarella in Calabria, Italy. She was owner operator of Ann’s Hair Salon in West Harrison, N.Y. Anna is survived by her devoted husband, Charles DiFede of Thornwood, N.Y. and by her loving children, Denise DiFede of Bedford, N.Y., Charles DiFede of Yorktown Hgts. N.Y., Anthony DiFede of Stamford, CT. and son in law John Grasso. One brother, Jerry (Toni) Chiarella of Peekskill, N.Y. and one sister, Stella (Edward) Stufano of Peekskill, N.Y. and sister in law Joann (Tom) Forte of West Harrison, N.Y. her one cherished grandson, Jake DiFede. She is also survived by her many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home, on Sunday, 3-7 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Name of Jesus Church, Valhalla, N.Y. on Monday, 10 AM. Interment, Mt.Calvary Cemetery, Greenburgh, N.Y.
