Ann Jorgensen

Ann Jorgensen  80, of Thornwood, N.Y. entered the gates of heaven on May 9, 2020,   Ann was born in Brooklyn, NY to Maple and Robert Lake on April 10, 1940.  At the age of 13, she met Fred Jorgensen, and so began their love story that lasted 67 years.  Ann had quite the zest for life.  She loved her home and family, and could often be found tending to her beautiful flower and vegetable gardens.  Ann was also an avid baker and loved preparing goodies for friends and family.  Most of all, Ann was proud of her role as wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  She is survived by her adoring husband who never left her side, Alfred V Jorgensen of Thornwood, NY, daughter Lisa Snyder (Bill) also of Thornwood, Sons Victor Jorgensen (Kari) of Carmel, NY, and Van Jorgensen (Gina) of Saunderstown, RI.  Grandmother to Brianna, Sabrina, Jenna, Will, Donoven, Samantha, Matthew, and Luke.  Great-grandmother to Luca.  She is also survived by her sister Candice Lake and brother Robert Lake, and pre-deceased by sister Penelope Dwork.  Words cannot express how much she will be missed.  A celebration of her life will take place in the near future.
