Angelo Pozzuto

Angelo Pozzuto 96, most recently of Thornwood, N.Y. and formerly of Bronx, N.Y. died on Sept.28, 2020. He was born on Feb.9, 1924 to the late Francesco and Libera Pozzuto in Colle Sannita, Benevento, Italy. He was a retired construction laborer. Angelo was predeceased by his beloved wife, Carmela (nee Zeolla) Pozzuto in 2017 and also predeceased by his sister, Serafina Zeolla in 2020. He is survived by his loving children, Francesco (Libera) Pozzuto of England, Pasquale Pozzuto of Bronx, N.Y., Donato (Carmelina) Pozzuto of Patterson, N.Y., Libera (Francesco) Pozzuto of Italy, Filomena (Giorgio) Mascia of Thornwood, N.Y. and Maria (Anthony) Iamarino of Patterson, N.Y. also survived by his 14 cherished grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Thursday, 4-8 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Friday, 10 AM. Interment, St. Raymond’s Cemetery, Bronx, N.Y.
