Angela M. Goldfuss 84, of North White Plains, N.Y. died on Oct. 18, 2021, was born in White Plains, NY on May 5, 1937 to Julio and Mary Petruzzellis. The youngest of six, she was raised on Mott Street and attended local schools. Angela married Jon Goldfuss in 1990. Avid Giants fans, they attended home games and hosted tailgate parties for many years. They enjoyed yearly winter trips to St. Maarten, their home away from home. She was a great collector; her home was filled – very filled - with Giants memorabilia, family photos, and meaningful mementos and keepsakes. But most of all, she enjoyed a good meal and a cocktail with Jon, family and friends while telling stories of growing up with her large family in White Plains. She had a vivacious personality that could light up a room. Angela worked in the restaurant business where she was well known with the lunchtime crowd for her quick wit, colorful personality and fashion sense. She was a gem, whose contagious smile sparkled like the jewelry she loved to wear. “If it don’t shine, it ain’t mine, Doll!” Angela is predeceased by her parents; brothers John, Joseph, Phillip and Anthony (Chick) Petruzzellis; and sister Rose Cacciato. Angela is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Jon; stepsons Gregory, Jeffrey and Brian; four grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. A truly remarkable, loving and generous person, Angela will be remembered and missed by anyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Salute. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Thursday, Oct.21, 2021 from 4-8 PM. Interment, Mount Calvary Cemetery, Greenburgh, N.Y.
