It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Amanda Davila on October 10, 2024. Amanda was a bright shining star whose remarkable intelligence, wit, beauty and kindness brought laughter and boundless love into the lives of everyone who had the privilege of meeting and getting to know her. Everyone loved Amanda.

Born on June 25, 1976 in White Plains NY to the late Dr. Felix and Maryann Davila, Amanda had a personality that could fill a room and a warmth that drew people near. Whether it was her witty remarks, or her compassionate spirit, Amanda had a unique gift of drawing people in and making them feel special and loved.

She graduated from Byram Hills High School in Armonk NY and Columbia University in NYC. She was working towards her Masters in Social Work at NYU. Amanda was reborn six years ago when she received a new heart.

Amanda is survived by her mother Maryann of Port Chester NY, her sister Christine (Jorge) Martinez and her two nephews Nicholas and Brandon of Hawthorne NY, her sister Alex and her niece Mars of Roslindale MA and her niece Maya Martinez of Bloomingburg NY. She I also survived by her 2 cats Bevy Nicole and Ellie Amanda. She was predeceased by her sister Nicole and her beloved cat Chopsy. She leaves behind many other family members and friends who will carry her spirit forward in their hearts forever.

She would also have encouraged us all to become organ donors in order for someone else to have a chance at life.
