Allayne Klein Berkrot

Allayne Rhoda Klein Berkrot of Harrison, New York died on February 17th, 2018. She was 88 years old.

Allayne was a loving wife to Marvin of 52 years. She was a loving mother to Jim, sister to Joyce, aunt, cousin, grandaunt to her grandnephews and grandnieces and a dear friend to many more. She was a vivacious, passionate and caring person.

Allayne was a graduate of the New York City Public School System, Hunter College and Adelphi University where she earned her masters degree. Allayne was a dedicated elementary school teacher who loved educating children.

Allayne had an appreciation for the arts, music and design. She had a gift for connecting with people, an infectious laugh and boundless joie de vivre.

Her generosity, warmth and joyous spirit will live on through those who knew her. Our world is more having had her in it.
