Alisssa Koerner-Baalbaki passed away on December 22, 2024, at NYP-Weill Cornell after a courageous two-year battle with melanoma.
Alisssa dedicated nearly twenty-five years of her life to social work at Westchester Jewish Community Services, where she made a profound impact on countless lives. For the past eight years, she served as the Clinic Director of the Yonkers Clinic, leading with compassion and unwavering commitment to her community.
She is survived by her beloved daughter, Hannah, and her brother, Joshua, who will cherish her memory and the love she brought into their lives.
Alisssa found joy in life's simple pleasures-spending time reading, relaxing on porches, and enjoying Hallmark movies. These moments reflected her appreciation for comfort and connection.
