Alice P. Stafford

Alice P. Stafford 88, a lifelong resident of Valhalla, N.Y. died on Oct. 8, 2011 at her residence. She was born on June 13, 1923 to the late Charles and Emile Pfister in Valhalla, N.Y. Alice was retired from Readers Digest in Chappaqua, N.Y. She was predeceased by her two sisters, Millie Studer and Gertrude Stevenson and survived by her one nephew, Fred K.(Nancy) Studer of Valhalla, N.Y. and by her three nieces, Nancy (Pet) Smith of NJ, Wendy (Bruce) Adams of Col. and Jean (Paul) Sterns of NH. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Thursday, 4-8 PM. where funeral services will be held on Friday, 10 AM. Interment, Kensico Cemetery, Valhalla, N.Y. In lieu of flowers donations to Valhalla United Methodist Church 200 Columbus Ave. Valhalla, N.Y. 10595 would be appreciated.
