Alfonso N. Campana

Alfonso N. Campana 83, of Hartsdale, N.Y. died on March 8, 2013 at his residence. He was born on January 27, 1930 to the late Francesco Fedele and Giuseppina (nee Morice) Campana in Ciro, Italy. He was a retired police officer in Naples, Italy and later was a school administrator with La Scuola D'Italia in NYC. Alfonso is survived by his devoted wife, Theresa (nee Fiorino) Campana of Hartsdale, N.Y. and by his loving children, Frank (Rachele) Campana of Montvale, N.J. and Maria (Eric) Schmid of Hartsdale, N.Y. one sister, Rosa LaMezza and one brother, Antonio (Nina) Campana both of Italy. Also survived by his six cherished grandchildren, Christina, Alexandra, Salvatore, Dominick, Isabella and Eric. Predeceased by his one brother Giovanni Campana and by his one sister, Nina Santoro. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Sunday, 3-7 PM. Funeral Mass, Sacred Heart Church, Hartsdale, N.Y. on Monday, 11 AM. Entombment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y.
