Alexander R. Ciampi, Jr.

Alexander R. Ciampi, Jr. 84, of Valhalla, N.Y. died on July 18, 2021 at White Plains Hospital Center in White Plains, N.Y. He was born on Feb. 19, 1937 to the late Alexander and Angelina (nee DeFede) Ciampi in Bronx, N.Y. He proudly served in the US Army from 1955-1957. Alex was a retired Mason Contractor with the Bricklayers Local in Bronx, N.Y. He was a 51 year member of the Valhalla Fire Co. # 1. He is survived by his devoted wife, Joan F. (nee Arce) Ciampi of Valhalla, N.Y. and by his loving children, Alexander (Susan) Ciampi of White Plains, N.Y., Doreen (James) Scott of Valhalla, N.Y., Karen (Frank) Grande of North White Plains, N.Y. and Lori Ann (Tony) Bochi of White Plains, N.Y.  also survived by his ten cherished grandchildren, Michael (Rebekah), Katie (Dane), Donna (Scott), James (Gabriella), Christine (Lauren), Jeffrey, Michelle, Natalie, Alexander, Tyler and five great grandchildren, Camden, Colton, Greyson, Liana and Jackson. Predeceased by two brothers, Ronald and Mario and one sister, Camille. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Name of Jesus Church, Valhalla, N.Y. on Wednesday, 10 AM. Interment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y. In lieu of flowers donations to either, American Heart Association or Alzheimer’s Association, would be appreciated.
