Aldo O. Buschini

Aldo O. Buschini 88, of Valhalla, N.Y. died on Dec. 5, 2009 at White Plains Hospital Center. He was born on Feb.15, 1921 to the late Flori and Irene (nee Cioppa) Buschini in North White Plains, N.Y.He proudly served in the US Marines during WWII in the 3rd Marine Division in the Pacific Theatre in the Iwo Jima, Guam and Bougainville Campaigns. Aldo was Assistant Postmaster with the Valhalla Post Office, retiring in 1982. He is survived by his devoted wife Catherine (nee Duffelmeyer) Buschini of Valhalla, N.Y. His loving children; Bruce Buschini and his wife Angela of Eastchester, N.Y. John Buschini and his wife Angela of Hobe Sound, Fla. Susan Renna and her husband Leonard of Newburgh, N.Y. and Catherine Larkin of Danbury, Conn. 1 brother Frank Buschini and his wife Nancy of Valhalla, N.Y. Also survived by his 9 cherished grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Predeceased by 1 brother James Buschini and 2 sisters Flora Motto and Clara Brendolan. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Thursday 5-9 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Name of Jesus Church, Valhalla, N.Y. on Friday 10 AM. Interment, Kensico Cemetery, Valhalla, N.Y.
