Alan D. Marino

Alan D. Marino 88, of Thornwood, N.Y. died on May 31, 2021. He was born on August 15, 1932 to the late Domenic and Mary (nee Yusi) Marino in Port Chester, N.Y. Alan owned the former Corsuns Pharmacy in Thornwood, N.Y. and later went on to become the Director of Pharmacy at Northern Westchester Hospital Center in Mt. Kisco, N.Y. He was a member of the Mt. Kisco Rotary Club, a former Fire Commissioner with the Thornwood Fire District, a former member of Pleasantville Volunteer Ambulance Corps and a former member of the Pleasantville Fire Dept. Band and various other bands, and an avid hunter. He is survived by his devoted wife, Johanna (nee Provenzano) Marino of Thornwood, N.Y. and by his loving children, Domenic A. (Jennifer) Marino of Flemington, N.J., Susan (Gregory) Daniele of Thornwood, N.Y. and Melissa (Glenn) Bayeur of Poughquag, N.Y. also survived by his five cherished grandchildren, Alan and Katie Marino, Salvatore Daniele, Ian and Graham Bayeur. and sister in law, Phyllis Marino. Predeceased by his two brothers, Robert and Paul Marino.  Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Thursday, June 3, 2021 from 4-8 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Friday, 11 AM. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Rosary Hill Home, 600 Linda Ave. Hawthorne, N.Y. 10532, would be appreciated.
