Peter Gruntal

GRUNTAL- Peter, January 1, 1919- November 24, 2012. Son of Florine Herts and Edwin A. Gruntal, Peter was born and raised in Hartsdale, NY. Salesman and WWII veteran. He won the first of many Westchester golf championships in 1939 and was a member of the Sunningdale and Whippoorwill country clubs. He and the former Carol Bach were married from 1966 until her death in 2008. He will be missed by his devoted niece, Judith Allen and her family, by his golfing buddies and everyone who knew him.
