Marla Christie Bellamy

Marla Bellamy of Bronx NY passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2018. She was born in Hackensack, NJ and lived a significant time in Paterson NJ. Marla attended school in Bronx NY before moving to Paterson, NJ and enlisting in the US Army Reserve. Family and friends were Marla's love and joy. She grew up spending holidays with her mother, Christina, sister, Rytchel, brother, Russell, Grandma (Olive) and multitude of aunts, uncles, cousins and great cousins. She loved to sing. Although, sometimes misplaced loyalties led her astray, Marla enjoyed making friends and made many lifelong acquaintances in all experiences she undertook. Marla is survived by her mother, Christina, and brother, Russell. She also leaves behind a lot of caring relatives and friends. The family wishes to thank all of those who cared for her over the last year, and with special emphasis on nursing and support staff at MJHS Hospice and Palliative Care Center, Bronx, NY.
