Louis "Bud" Renz

Bud, 83, of White Plains and Boca Raton, FL passed away peacefully on February 26, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. He was born and raised in Scarsdale and graduated from Scarsdale High School and Hobart College in Geneva, NY. He had a distinguished 35-year career as Director of Corporate Insurance for Avon Products, Inc. in New York City. An avid sports fan and outstanding athlete all of his life, Bud loved challenging his children and grandchildren to any competition. Nothing was more important to him than his family and the special times they shared in Nantucket and Vermont. He will be dearly missed by his wife of 55 years, Marie "Mitzi"� Renz, and by his three sons, Timothy (Renée), Jonathan (Barbara), Richard (Carey) and his cherished grandchildren Jonathan, Jennifer, Kathryn, Seth, Alyssa, Tyler and Sara. He is survived by his sister Kathleen (Bill) Trier of Seattle, WA and predeceased by sisters Barbara Firth, Dorothy Lauden, and Louise Guinn. A funeral service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, 292 Elwood Avenue, Hawthorne, NY on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 11AM with interment following at Kensico Cemetery. Funeral arrangements under the care of Ballard Durand Funeral Home, Maple Avenue, White Plains, NY.
