Joel A. Morandi

Joel A Morandi, 61, of Lagrangeville New York passed away on August 15, 2023 in an unexpected accident. Joel was born on June 23, 1962 and experienced a happy upbringing in Elmsford New York. He was a graduate of Hamilton High School in Elmsford and spent the last 35+ years as a general contractor and builder.

On May 11, 2002, he married his best friend and partner for life, Jessica, and together they brought an amazing son into this world, Cody John. Joel was full of zest for life and lived to spend time with his family. He was a volunteer fireman and EMT for many years with the Live Oak fire department.

Joel is previously deceased by his mom, Joan, and survived by his father John, sister Laura and her husband Dennis, brother Eric and his wife Doreen, sister Gail and her husband John, sister Monica and her husband Stuart, brothers David and Billy, and all of his nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to share in a memorial service being held on Friday August 18, 2023 from 4p to 8p at Ballard-Durand Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held at Mount Carmel Church in Elmsford, New York on Saturday August 19, 2023 at 10 am.
