Apkar G. Omartian, 91, of Ardsley, New York, passed away from heart failure at Phelps Memorial Hospital on February 17, 2020.

Visitation will be from 9-10:30 am on Saturday, February 22 at the St Gregory the Enlightener Armenian Church, 1131 North St, White Plains, NY 10605, funeral services at 10:30 and
burial to follow at Ferncliff Cemetery in Hartsdale.

Apkar was a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and a proud veteran of the Army Counter Intelligence Service during the Korean War. He lived most of his life in Tarrytown working as an Architect, designing many prominent buildings in the village and across Westchester.

He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Florence, daughter Susan, son Richard, and grandchildren Alex, Kim, and Sean. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Orran at www.orran.am or by mail 2217 Observatory Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90027.
