Alfred A. Faillace, 90, of Shrub Oak NY passed away on Monday January 25, 2020.
He was born on October 2, 1930 in Bronx, NY, the son of Anthony and Catherine Faillace. Alfred is survived by his loving and devoted wife Mary and his children and grandchildren: Lisa Faillace-Sciliano(Fred), grandchildren Andrew, Matthew and Katelyn; Dionne Shanley (Ray); Philip Faillace (Diana), grandchildren Marissa and Justin; Alison Poe (Kevin), grandchildren Spencer and Ashley.
Alfred was devoted to his wife and family and was loved dearly by them. He met his wife Mary at a dance in 1951 across a crowded room. They began dating on April 14, 1951 and were married 67 years ago, in 1953, after he served in the Army during the Korean War.
Before moving to Shrub Oak,NY, in 2015, he lived in West Harrison, NY for 46 years where he an his wife raised his family. His career in industrial marketing afforded him the opportunity to travel within the United States, Europe and Asia. His family enjoyed listening to his many travel stories which spanned from the 1950's - 1990's.
