We lost a family member, a great and caring sister-in-law anyone can ever ask for. Maryam was one of a kind, she would touch your heart and soul the very first minute you meet her. She was very humble with a big heart and a friendly smile. We have lots of memories with her, like her calls on Sundays to make sure we are all OK, sharing her cooking plan and what she would have for dinner, our family trip to her favorite spot, New Hampshire, and all her excitement about nature, animals, and the birds we would encounter, while she was pointing out every single one of them to make sure we all notice, going to the movie theater, restaurant when we were visiting or sending us gifts for different occasions like birthday since we live far away in San Diego, we cherish all those unforgettable memories, and as we are still shocked and saddened by this sudden loss, I and Azar are keeping Camron, Ali, Shamsi, her nephew Alex, her brothers Ali and Hamid, the whole family, close friends, and colleagues in our thoughts and prayers. RIP Dear Maryam, you are truly missed.

Saddened and shocked when I heard the news about Dr. Hashemi. She always welcomed my daughter and me with a friendly greeting and big smile when we were there for her braces. She was always so gentle in her procedures and confident in what she did that I knew we were in very capable hands. We will sorely miss her. My condolences to her family for this very big loss.
